[3] Materials call up memories
Materials which come from the earth, like wax, coal, oil, clay, steel, humus, grass lie at the heart of my artistic work. The material in itself contributes greatly to the end form of the object. Themes for my work were and are earthly processes which are basic to our lives and how man uses them. Related to this is the installation "A Relationship" which concerns itself with the basics of growth.
